ST. JOHN’S SCHOOL STUDENTS COMMENDED FOR THEIR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN THE SCIENCE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS AND ASSESSMENTS FOR SCHOOLS 2010

Students from St John’s School achieved outstanding results when they participated in the SCIENCE International Competitions and Assessments (ICAS) this year. Those students whose achievements were outstanding were rewarded with certificates of Credit and Distinction. The ICAS suite of tests is developed by Educational Assessment Australia, UNSW Global Pty Limited. The test is designed to assess student’s academic ability in aspects of Sciences. It provides extensive independent evaluation of student’s skills, knowledge and understandings in the core learning areas. These skills and understandings are important indicators of success in school and beyond.(stjohn’s school- science department 2010)
